- 1. Pick a clear, high quality photo with good lighting.
- Make sure the AI can easily recognize your facial features.
- As a guideline: Can you clearly see the pupils of the eye? If not, either the image is too far, or the lighting isn't good.
- 2. Use portrait photos, as they have the highest chance of success. Full body shots are possible, but have a lower chance of success.
- 3. Avoid weird camera angles.
- 4. Avoid shadows over faces.
- 5. Upload and wait 5 minutes for the AI to transform your photos into anime masterpieces!

Usually between 1 to 5 minutes, however, during peak times this might take longer.
Since the artwork is AI generated, not all of them will be perfect.
To combat this, we have programmed the AI to generate 5 unique variations for each image. This way, there’s a high chance of yielding a high quality artwork (usually multiple).

Photos can be full body, half body or head shots. We recommend selecting clear, high quality photos.
Unlike most other apps which apply filters on your photos, AnimeMyself is AI-driven and can take between 1-3 minutes to generate your artwork. This requires high computing power which incurs high costs, however, the images generated will be higher quality than the other apps out there.
